Book Review

I absolutely love Nora Roberts books! This one is no exception! This romantic suspense pulled me in from the first page!

Morgan was happily living her life working 2 jobs, saving to start her own business when she meets a hunky IT guy (Luke) at the bar where she was working. Little does she know her world is going to be turned upside down! He is a scam artist who steals identities and then kills that person. But he made a mistake and killed Morgan's best friend/roommate instead of her. With losing everything she moves home to live with her mom and grandmother. She gets a new job as a hospitality manager, life is good..until Luke finds her again!

This book has lots of twists and turns, romance thrown in there. I really enjoyed everything about this book…there were a few slow spots for me but it didn't take away from my love of this book. I loved the Jameson family and how they rallied to protect Morgan (even though she had not worked there long).  The Nash ladies were fabulous too! I loved how their bond continued to grow throughout the book.

I felt so sorry for Morgan with losing her best friend, having to sell her house and everything else. But I really admire her perseverance and how she built her life back up even better than before (with the exception of not having Nina in her life).

I love that Luke got what was coming to him. How she got under his skin and made him mess up (and gain all the weight). Karma is a wonderful thing!
