✨️ Book Review ✨️ 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: Love, Lies & Cherry Pie 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫: Jackie Lau 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬: 349 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Emily is a single, author/ part time barista in her 30’s. Her overbearing family can’t seem to let that fact that she is happy being single go. She is the last of 5 daughters who has yet to be married, and her mom is constantly trying to set her up on dates. Her mom’s current quest is Mark Chan. He is all she talks about. He is around the same age as Emily, he is a “boring” engineer, and she isn’t a fan when she meets him at her sister's wedding. They ultimately come up with a fake dating plan to get their parents off their backs. Unfortunately, there are holes in their stories, so they have to start dating for real.
