𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: The Vancouver Agitators Series, Book 5

I read this book this summer, but I really wish that I had read the previous books in this series before reading this one. It was not as good a fit as the other Meghan Quinn books I have read & loved!

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Levi is a hockey player for the Vancouver Agitators. His coach is Wylie's father. Wylie is a college student who wants to be a graphic designer but wants to quit school to follow her dreams. Her father makes a deal with her to work as a P.A. for Levi where he has plans to undermine her and force her to go back to school. Levi stupidly goes along with his plan.

𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Vancouver, Canada plus some other cities while on the road.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐝:

• There were so many laugh out loud moments in this book

• I enjoyed the group chats a lot

• LOVED the closeness of the teammates!

• Put aside the things I didn't like, Levi really is a sweet, compassionate guy

• The picnic in the apartment was so sweet

• Love the bracelets

• I loved the side characters (and I really want to go back and read their stories)!

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞:

•  The whole plan that the coach comes up with is so unbelievable and cringe. As a parent, I don't know how a father would ever do this to their child.

• I didn't connect with Wylie at all. She annoyed me much of the book

• I felt that there was no depth to their relationship or much other than their sex life to the storyline.

• A lot of the conversations were more of what I would expect from teenagers not adults in their 20's-30's. Lots of cringe moments.

• I felt that there was so much repeating, and the book could have definitely been shorter

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐡𝐚𝐬:

Age Gap (10 years)

Hockey Romance

Forced Proximity

Forbidden Romance

Lots of Spice

Insta-Lust

Coach's Daughter
