2022! Happy (Late) New Year!!!

WOW! So much has changed in the last 6+ months!!! It really has been a struggle (not really something I am ok with posting online) but we are coming to the end of that chapter of our lives - I cannot wait. I finally feel like I can almost fully breathe again! Lots of stress, I have fallen off the health/fitness wagon a few times but the important thing is that I keep getting back on. I am really focusing on getting back on track with my health goals and it really helps that the weather is getting nice again so not only am I getting back to my walks, I am really focusing on yardwork & gardening this year!!!

Some stuff that has been going on around here...

* Earlier this year I participated in another round of the 60 Days Stronger Challenge - I finished 3rd place and really I am lucky that I did that well with all that has been going on here.

* We renovated our kitchen and put in all new flooring throughout the house (still need to do our bedroom and then renovate our bathroom). But that will probably happen in the fall since we want to focus on outdoor projects.

* I have signed up for a few different reading challenges for the year. 2022 Good Reads Challenge - my goal is 150 books for the year and I am currently sitting at 54 books! I am also participating in a 50 books Challenge with my local library...because some of the books I have read on Kindle Unlimited were quite short (more like chapters), I have counted them as one book so I have 2 more books to read to finish that challenge!

* With the reading, I have started participating on some ARC Teams (Advance Readers Copy) which means that I get to read books before they come out (or sometimes shortly after) and rate/review them! So much fun!!!

* Also with the library, I have started taking some of the free classes that they offer. I have really been enjoying them. My first class was a Health &Nutrition one which is wrapping up this week. I also started a Grown Your Own Edible Garden class, a Journaling class & a Low Fat Meals class. This has really encouraged me to go back to school and get my degree since our state has free community college for those over 25 years old without a degree. I am in the process of getting that in order to start classes this fall!!!

* I have been slowly working on my 45 @ 45 list. It has been a struggle because of restrictions from Covid and other local stuff. But thankfully things are getting easier and are safer than they had been in the past couple of years...but there are a few that just won't get completed unfortunately.

* My baby graduates next month! I am so excited for this. It has been such a stressful year. I am glad for it to be over. He finally decided to get his driver's license and that has taken so much off my plate. I look forward to the great things he will do in the future!

I am really excited for all of these changes coming up and I really need to get back to my list (including my embroidery/sewing business) and posting on here a lot more. Be on the look out for my book reviews too!!!
