YAY!!! It's the weekend!

 Rough day here yesterday so instead of getting on my social media to do my update, I fell asleep...It was much needed sleep. Today didn't start much better. I woke up with a migraine so I took meds and laid back down for a bi t. Thankfully it went away quickly!

As I mentioned before, I decided to get some smaller clothes this week - it has been 8 months on this journey and I could definitely tell a difference in how my clothes fit. My biggest problem is that I didn't want to fork out a bunch of money when I am still working on myself. Jackie and I went to the thrift store on Friday since we love their 5 for $5 deals and really, I was ok spending a dollar to see if the even smaller size jeans would fit me...which THEY DID!!! Words cannot express how excited I am - I have not wore this size since probably back in high school. Such an accomplishment for me!!! But I don't want to be full of myself here...that number isn't everything to me. Honestly, it is ALL about getting healthy. Trust me when I say, one maybe discouraged that the scale number hasn't gone lower than it has this year with all of the work that I have put in...but I know that I am building a TON of muscle. I am so much stronger than I was last year!!! 

I just really need to get my focus back on my meals...I am staying in a calorie deficit but I have slacked on my fruits, veggie and making sure I get enough protein in every day. This week I didn't even get my meal prep done and that didn't help at all! I will be working on that tomorrow!!! 

Today I had two visitors...my good friend Cheryl and my Aunt Sandy. Cheryl & I went to the thrift store and I picked up some more of the 5 for $5 deals! I am excited for the selection that I got. Cheryl even picked out a shirt for me (and I picked out one for her) that I wouldn't typically wear...so we are going to both wear them out when we go up to Mackinac Island next week! I am pretty excited about that!!! We always have fun together!  My Aunt stopped by to give me a lovely birthday present - 2 new outfits (in smaller sizes). I LOVE THEM!!! It was nice catching up with her - I absolutely love her. She's like a mother to me!!!

  12. Update clothes as I continue to lose weight
  13. Drink half my weight in oz of water everyday
  14. Buy myself something special every month
