A Lesson for myself...

Today was one of those days when I forgot that I have health issues...it was a hot one! Humidity made it seem even worse than it was too!

This morning I dropped my car off to get a front end alignment and they said it would take a couple of hours which was great because I could get a few things done off my list! First I walked the park 3 times and then walked over to the library. It didn't really seem that bad to be honest but I really enjoyed the air conditioning in the library! I applied for a library card so I went to pick it up and check to see if they had a book that is in my to-read list. Ben ride his bike down to meet me and we headed to Rochester Mills to use my free birthday meal coupon. It was when we were walking back to get my car that I realized something wasn't right. We were walking up a hill and I felt weird. I looked at Ben and told him that I wasn't feeling right. He told me it must have been something I ate but it wasn't that kind of feeling. It was a can't catch my breath kind of feeling. It was weird because I had already walked over 5 miles for the day and didn't feel anything like this...we had just gotten out of a crazy cold restaurant and had lunch. When we finally got back in the car, > looked at my Galaxy Fit watch....my heart beat number was SO high! My resting rate wasn't going below 90...which hasn't been that high in ages!!! I  was freaking out a bit until Ben said it was probably because of the heat so I looked it up and he was right!!!
From Google...
I was already already drinking water like crazy so I decided to lay down and relax to see if that helped. Here is what I found online for lowering your heart rate...once I took a cold shower, I was back to normal.
It definitely had me worrying but I am glad that I was able to get it back under control! Looks like I will be using my new exercise machine for the next few days (indoor exercise because it will be HOT)!!!

Here are a few pictures from my day...
