Sunny Saturday!!! And some Challenge Updates!

 After some cooler days this week, today is supposed to be warmer. Thank goodness! I have actually skipped my walking part of my workout routine a few days this week and it really messed my week up. It wasn't crazy cold but there was wind and some rainy weather involved too. Well, I will be back at my walking today with a smile on my face!

Yesterday, I finished the Barre Blend Program from Beach Body. It really was bittersweet for me and I got emotional when the instructor started crying. The 8 weeks of this program flashed by in a blur! I loved every minute of it! Now don't get me wrong...the first day or two of the new phases were a challenge (especially as the intensity and duration increased) but I went with the flow and sweat my butt off! It felt amazing! And to see the difference from the end of week 1 and the end of week 8 is stunning! I lost an additional 11 inches just from this program!!! I lost pounds too but I really don't pay attention to those because I am building so much muscle right now. 

SO what program is next? Well...I was originally going to go with Morning Meltdown 100 BUT after watching some other programs sample videos, I am going with #MBF (Muscle Burns Fat). It is a 3 week program and then there is an advanced program for another 3 weeks after this one is finished. I am really excited to get started with this one. I had Ken order me a cordless jump rope for this program - last minute so I probably won't have it in time for my first real exercise of this program on Monday. I am going to do the pre-workout tomorrow.

I also finished the Coffee Self Talk book yesterday. Now I have to go through all of the prompts and see if there are any that I want to use or change to fit my life. I have started a list already on my Note App but I need to finish and get started with what I have learned in the book. I already feel good when I read the author's prompts...I can only imagine when I have my own words! Today I started the book Chasing Cupcakes by Elizabeth Benton. I saw this book on a few gals reading list on the 60 Days Stronger Challenge Group so I ordered it off of Thriftbooks! It really was a toss up between this book and Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin...so that will be my next book to read. 

I have been pretty bad with updating my challenges on here. I need to add this to my morning Coffee & Self-Talk time. That way I can get it right out of the way and add things thought-out the day if I need to. :)
