Saturday Check-In and Challenge Updates

Good Saturday Morning!

Another bright, sunny day here! Great way to start the weekend (although we are supposed to get some rain later today and all day tomorrow). The weather this week has been pretty perfect so I can't complain about the upcoming rain.

This week has been a great week - I am loving "Coffee Self-Talk". I can definitely feel a difference within. Yesterday, I read a list of self-talk that the author had provided as a start and as I read the statements outload, I felt this rush of emotion! So much that I started to cry. It's like my brain needed to hear those words. I felt amazing the rest of the day! And that was my first time doing that - with words provided by the author! I can only imagine how I will feel with my own words of motivation! I need to sit down this weekend and make 15-20 positive self-talk statements for myself.

I made some awesome foods this week, had some awesome conversations with my favorite peeps. I already finished my 40 Miles for the ACS 40 Mile Walk in April for Cancer Research! I will continue adding miles the rest of the month! More spring cleaning - bringing bins of clothes up and purging. I have another donation scheduled for next month and I already have a lot to get rid of! Some added greatness for the week...I can now fit into the vintage dresses that were my Grandmothers!!! And a good chunk of my summer clothes are too big and are going into that donation pile! I have kept some basics that will get me thru but I really don't want to go crazy buying new things until I am closer to my goals...if I keep going down in sizes, I don't want to keep buying clothes. I have bought some comfy workout clothes that will last awhile (since they have stretch). :)

Lately, I have really been enjoying self-development books and I am so thankful that Jackie told me about the Thrift Books website! I placed my 3rd order today - I think she is glad too because each time I order I get her some books too! I even earned a free book!!! I ended up getting "The Life-Changing Art of Tidying Up" by Marie Kondo. So excited!
