𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐝:

• I absolutely love this book cover!

• Loved Grandma's spunk!

• Fat Tony and his havoc reeking ways! Loved that he had a collar and was vaccinated

𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: I have a love/hate relationship with this book. While I love the basic story of the romance between Mylie and Ben, I thought that this book had too much going on with side stories which took away from their love story. The whole Robbie part of this story was unnecessary. The slow burn was so painstakingly slow that I decided that I didnt want them together anymore. I enjoyed the beginning of the book but it got to the point that the miscommunications got to be too much. Mylie was such an inspiration. Such a strong, independent, successful FMC. As much as she loved Ben, she knew to put her life first.

Ben was a  selfish jerk.  Not only when they were kids but when he came back. All he thought about was himself and his feelings. I really wanted to champion this relationship but honestly, I feel like Mylie deserved better than him

𝐂𝐖: Bullying, Theft, Attempted Murder
