𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Claire is a junior in high school. Her dreams of becoming a figure skater were crushed when she broke her foot and tore all of the ligaments. Not only was she dealing with this trauma, her boyfriend of 2 years broke up with her. Austin (also a junior) is a star soccer player. His family moved from AZ to Frost Lake so he could train with a professional soccer player/coach. Their first meeting was sparkly, their second had sparks flying between them, but they decide friendship would be best for both of them.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐡𝐚𝐬:

• Sports Romance

• Soccer Player/Former Figure Skater

• Forbidden/Secret Romance

• Friends to Lovers

• Dual POV

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐝:

• I love that the book takes place in MI

• The Glitter scene & the Disco nickname

• Lacy - she is the fiercest best friend!

• The chemistry sparkling off the pages

• I love how Austin encourages Claire to try new things

• I loved the dynamic of Austin’s family & feel sadness for Claire’s

• When Austin stood up to Claire’s mom to convince her to go to the hockey game to see Claire’s cheerleading

𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: What a super sweet high school romance! I enjoy YA but I absolutely adored this one!. Rebecca is such a talented writer and can brilliantly write all phases in life. She is one of my favorite sports romance authors!

I loved everything about Austin, he is so confident, caring and wise beyond his age .It was great to see Claire’s character growth as she dealt with these life changing events. It was heartwarming to watch their friendship grow into something more. They are definitely a perfect couple! I cannot wait to see what is to come in this series!!!
