• Good character development
• A lot of delectable foods & drinks
• Love a strong FMC - she was an ambitious girl boss
• Enjoyed the plot & writing style
• The chemistry between Connor & Arie! Sparks flew off the pages!
• Unique plot - I have really read a book along this storyline
• Loved the part when Connor met Arie’s twin!
This is my first read by Elle Berlin. I had a real love/hate relationship with this book…not the writing but more of the subject matter. I thought Arie was a great character, and I hated what she had to go through in order to see her dream come true. Can't wait to read the rest of this series!
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞:
• I didn’t like the investor or the pressure that he put on them just to get the money. I felt like he really pushed the limits with her since she's female, giving her little say for her own business.
• SIMON! What a tool! I really hated how he pushed her into doing stuff she didn't want to do. He was such a hypocrite.
