The Dixon Rule • Hambright PR

Book Review

Holy WOW! I own several Elle Kennedy books but the Campus Diaries are the first books that I have actually read! I rushed to read Book 1 (The Graham Effect) so that I didn’t miss any details in Book 2 (The Dixon Rule)...I have no clue why I have waited so long to read her work!

We first met Diana and Shane in The Graham Effect as the MC’s besties but we were able to fall in love with them in this book! Diana is fierce - she works multiple jobs, she is head cheerleader and is in a Ballroom Dancing competition. She inherited her apartment from her Aunt and she spends a lot  time on the HOA committee. Shane comes from a wealthy family. He is on the college hockey team with hopes of soon going pro. His parents bought/renovated an apartment for him which just happens to be right next door to Diana. Both come with baggage which is how this fake dating relationship started! This book is LOADED with banter! The chemistry between Shane and Diana is off the charts!I love the neighbor chat group and everyone in the Meadow Hill community!

I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to see what happens next with this group of  friends. Elle is such an extraordinary story teller. There is some serious content in this book and even so, I found myself laughing often. It truly was an emotional roller coaster - there were even some tears shed. I truly couldn’t put this book down, finishing it in a day!
