Second Time's The Charm is a fantastic book! It is the first book that I have read by Stephanie Rose and I will certainly be going back to read her other books!
Jessie and Emily were high school sweethearts. Jesse broke up with her right after graduation breaking her heart causing her to have relationship issues well into adulthood.
Fast forward 20 years, it's their high school reunion and they are seeing each other for the first time since the break-up. While both have changed (and come with baggage), their feelings for each other have stayed the same.
I could really relate to this story since I married my high school sweetheart, granted we were not apart for 20 years but it made me love this book even more. I am a sucker for Second Chance Romance! I loved the fact that there wasn't a 3rd act break-up! The supporting characters were fabulous and I absolutely adored the epilogue!
I was truly sucked in from the very start and couldn't put it down. It was a quick read, I finished in a day!
