This was such a super cute “witchy” novella by Anne William! It was a delight to read during this spooky season!
Emma & Oliver are so cute! They meet by using a house swap service. Oliver needed to come home to help with his niece while his brother/sister-in-law dealt with a family medical issue. Emma is a witch who loves the spooky season (and her candy stash) while Oliver is an accountant and more of a Christmas addict who starts decorating in September. They first start chatting via text and then move onto phone calls. There is an instant attraction between them even before they met in person.
This was such a super sweet, quick read. While these two are opposites, they are both different in their own ways which makes them perfect for each other. Oliver was feeling boring which is why he went overboard on the Christmas stuff, but Emma made him feel anything but dull. Emma was alone and Oliver brought a family into her life. It was wonderful! My only gripe would be that I didn’t want this novella to end!
