Loving You was such a great book! It is Book 1 in the The Donovans: Sweetbriar Ridge series which is a spin-off of The Donovan series by Samantha Chase. Small Town romances are becoming one of my favorite tropes!
Jade is a single mother who has always struggled to make ends meet. She got pregnant young and the father wanted nothing to do with the child. She finally decides to pursue her dream and open her own business - a bookstore with a Cafe. Next is to find herself the perfect man!
Levi is a hot shot, big city advertiser who's biggest mistake was getting involved with a client…a married one, related to the boss no less! This lands him jobless so he decides to go home to figure out what's next. While looking for a new job, he picks up some small gigs around town. One of those being Jade's bookstore and he may be exactly what she is looking for!
I absolutely loved this book! What a great meet cute of "falling" in love! You could see sparks fly from the very beginning. Not to mention how great he is with Jade's son, Silas. These two are exactly what each other needs.
The side stories were great too. This is how the miscommunication trope should be written! Each MC's finally getting answers so they could move on with their lives.
I enjoyed seeing some of the Laurel Bay Donovan's in this book and can't wait read the Sweetbriar Ridge Donovan's stories! I am really loving this family!
