How to Kiss A Movie Star Review (Jenny Proctor)

BOOK REVIEW

I absolutely loved this book! I own several of Jenny Proctor's books and I don't know why I waited so long to read one of them! This book is #4 in the Hawthorne Brothers Series (it can be read as a stand-alone) and I will definitely be going back and reading the rest of them!

Flint is a famous actor who returns home to spend time with his (large) family and take a breather from the Hollywood scene (and an ex who keeps hinting that they are still together). Audrey is a nerdy wildlife biologist who is on the hunt to locate the rare white squirrels migration paths. While doing so she trespasses on Flint's property a couple of times. Flint catches her the second time and they make a deal that would benefit both of them. She can come on his property for her study if she agrees to fake date him to silence some of his relationship rumors.

I love both of these characters so much! Audrey is an awkward brainiac who doesn't always communicate well with other humans. Flint is the exact opposite of her and it is lovely how they balanced each other out. I was pulled into this book from the very beginning. There was the perfect amount of angst/tension and the banter had me laughing throughout the book.

Some of my favorite parts were…

✨️When Flint's sisters took Audrey shopping in New York.

✨️I also loved when the sister's  entered the text conversation with Flint giving him relationship advice.

✨️The twins were so funny too! It would be great if their were to get their own books too!

✨️ I loved the closeness of both of these MC's families!

Small Town romances seem to be my favorites lately! This book is so well written, the characters are loveable and relatable.  I cannot recommend this book enough (but you might want to start at the beginning of the series) 🤭
