Absolutely Not In Love • Jenny Proctor

This is absolutely one of my favorite reads of the year! It is the final book in the Sweater Weather series and it is amazing! I have only read 2 of the 7 books and it can definitely be read as a standalone.

Gracie is a middle school music teacher who does side gigs playing her cello. She wants to find her true love as long as he does not play hockey. She has some deep rooted issues stemming from childhood. Her family members are die hard hockey fans, her brother played hockey so their life revolved around it. Because she preferred music, she was often left on the sidelines. She never had the support of her family, they never went to any of her concerts and she just felt left out/not cared for. On top of that her first serious boyfriend who also played hockey, cheated on her. It's no wonder she feels this way!

Felix is a goalie for the Appie hockey team. He is an adorable hunk who happens to be Gracie's landlord. He keeps trying to get her attention and once he found out about her feelings about Hockey, he took that as a challenge to change her views.

I finished this book a couple of days ago and I am STILL feeling this book. Felix is amazing! I love everything about him! Gracie was a bit annoying to me with the "not dating a hockey player" rule  BUT Felix definitely makes up for that!!! He is so thoughtful, caring and is always the first person to help when needed! Felix is exactly what Gracie needed to move on from the past. They really were great together.

Jenny had such a gift for writing! I was completely drawn into this story. I loved the fall vibes, I loved this small town, I loved the cameos of other characters from the series/ her previous books! It was the icing on this delicious cake! I cannot wait to see what is next!

This book/series would make a fantastic Hallmark movie/series!
