The Wedding Menu Review (Letizia Lorini)

This book was absolutely AMAZING! Seriously one of the best books that I have read this year! The Wedding Menu is definitely a MUST read for 2023! I truly cannot wait to read more of her work!

I don't even know where to start with this review. This book was such an emotional rollercoaster in the best possible way! Amelie and Ian are now one of my NEW favorite book couples of all time! They met at her friend's wedding and the chemistry was there from the very beginning. They started texting each other and Ian really became one of the only people that Amelie could rely on. The banter, the angst, the tear jerking moments had me flipping through these pages (I finished it in a day). The texting, the PP (Photo Proof) and the Tweets really were the icing on the cake in this gem!

Amelie was a promising chef about to start her own business in a relationship with her high school boyfriend. All of her friends were getting married while she was stuck in the same old relationship going nowhere. When she mentioned it to her boyfriend, he said he would marry her IF she let him have an open relationship while she planned the wedding. But in a blink of an eye, she lost her restaurant, her boyfriend and some of her closest friendships all because of an awful article written about her.

The only thing that I was upset about was how she stayed in her relationship for as long as she did and that she actually went along with the open relationship. Even when she clearly did not want to do it. She deserved so much better than that! Oh and the way she let Martha walk all over her. She really needed to stand up for herself.

Please do yourself a favorite and grab a copy of this sweet & spicy goodness - you will not regret it!
