I absolutely adored the first part of the book but somewhere in the middle it just started to drag out a bit for me. As much as I love the steamy parts, they did seem to get repetitive. I loved all of the banter and angst. Once Cade got over his misguided anger, I really started loving the book again. The ending was the icing on the cake for me!
Any book that is bookish related, goes on my TBR! I loved that Mare was a successful author writing about her love story. I have a love/hate feeling for Cade! While he had this tender, loving side of him, he was also a complete jerk! I know he thought he was pushing Mare away for her own good but that grudge that he held against her was over the top! It was his fault that she didn’t come back but I was glad that he got his head out of his butt to realize what he needed to do to get Mare back.
