Fake relationship? As if.
I don’t need a man to complete me, but to get my tubes tied before I turn thirty, I do need a husband.
When the former child TV star turned producing director for the angsty hit drama series currently shooting in my hometown comes to me desperate for a favor, the exchange of my services for his seems like a great idea.
I help him relearn how to drive a car, and he acts as my fiancé for a few doctor’s visits.
What could go wrong?
Bingeing 90’s TV shows like Seinfeld and Beverly Hills 90210 have you jonesing for a time when email and cell phones were strange new things, and an app was something you ate before the first course? Then this slow burn, fake relationship, entertainment biz romantic comedy is just what the doctor ordered. Perfect for fans of Meghan Quinn and Lucy Score seeking all the feels in a sweet and sexy romance.

I fell in love with Karen Grey's Carolina Classics series last year! If you grew up in the 90's like I did and enjoyed Dawson's Creek, you will love this series!
IWITW is book 3 in the series but you can read it as a stand-alone (but I would suggest reading the other books first).
This is Dani's love story and it's my favorite of the series!!! Fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes so this one made my heart swoon!
Dani was Luke’s driver a few years prior and he had requested her again when he came back to NC to work on Lawson’s Reach. Both have insecurities, both help each other out. They struck up a deal - she would help him with his driving, he would marry her so she could have surgery.
Dani & Luke share a special connection and were both very relatable…it is a nice change seeing a HEA without children included. It is so infuriating that women have to deal with men telling them what they can/can't do with their bodies. I myself had a similar situation after my 2nd child being told I was not old enough (at 27) to make that decision. I am glad that Dani's story was told!
