I fell in love with my best friend, but he only ever loved me like a sister. So I moved on—with idiots.
In an attempt to ignore the fact that my best friend, Ty, would never love me the way I wanted him to, I dated a lot. I even got engaged to Ty’s cousin. Except my ex-fiancé wasn’t the man I thought he was. When he broke off our engagement and fled to LA, I was left devastated and emotionally wounded.
Leaning on Ty—the only man who has ever stayed by my side—I drowned myself in work and helping Ty renovate his new house. When Ty confesses he’s in love with me, I’m torn. He’s all I’ve ever wanted, but I’m scared, shattered, and nowhere near good enough for him—something my ex made sure I knew. How can I risk a relationship with the one person I can’t live without?
His North Star is a sweet contemporary romance with a sprinkling of heat.

WOW! I absolutely loved this book! I read it in a day! I just couldn’t put it down!!! Best friends to Lovers is quickly becoming a favorite of mine! It was the right amount of banter with sparks flying off the pages!
What I really appreciate the most is how sweet their bond is. Neither wanted to risk losing their friendship by taking the next step. I am SO glad that they did! While it is a slow burn with some miscommunication, the story itself is fantastic!
Maren’s self-growth was lovely to see - the realization of the toxic relationship that she was in and that she was worthy of love was heartwarming. Ty is wonderful! So sweet, supportive and gentle with Maren when she really needed it. And vice versa.
There were times when the everyday running of the B&B dragged a tad but overall, it was a page-turner. The epilogue was wonderful! I do however wish we knew more about Landon’s son..even a little history there would have been great (like who is his mom).
This book and characters are so relatable. I would love to visit their B&B. It sounds like my kind of vacation!
Thank you to Amanda P. Jones for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!
