Book Review:

How did I JUST find this series!?! This is the 6th and final book of Kristin Canary’s California Dreamin’ Series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I will definitely be going back and reading the other books in this series!

Kennedy, a former social media influencer is just out of a relationship and moves in with her sister (and her roommates). She has the option to go work for her wealthy Grandmother and get her trust fund but decides that she is not yet ready for that option. She starts working at a local coffee shop until a job offer from the next door neighbor falls in her lap!

Dr. Ryan Rosche is the said neighbor, who she happens to meet when his dog eats her pie and then again when Kennedy comes home to find his niece sitting in their living room. She takes her back to his house, she finds an exhausted Ryan who is in serious need of help with taking care of his two nieces who he has temporary custody of while their mother is in rehab. The attraction is there from the beginning,  they are apprehensive with the 11 year age gap.

This book is just SO good! I love the chemistry/banter between Kennedy & Ryan - you could just feel the sparks flying off the pages throughout this book!. I love how strong Kennedy is - overcoming a crappy hand that she was dealt and finding the happiness that she always wanted. Ryan is just amazing - stepping up and being the father figure that his nieces truly needed.

I loved all of the side characters in this book and can’t wait to read their stories! This was a quick & easy read and the ending was just superb! The only thing that I would have changed would be to make this  a dual POV - those are my absolute favorites! Overall this is a fabulous book!
