Fight or Flight is such a cute, quick book to read! This cover is fun and really matches what’s inside!
Natalie has had a rough start to her life - her mother died when she was young. She never had a relationship with her father(she was a secret love child) so she went to live with her grandmother until the town(and her fathers wife) started talking badly about her. She takes off to see the world, changing her name and not looking back until she receives notice that her grandmother has passed away. She is requested to spread her grandmother's ashes and was surprised to find out that she inherited part of the family’s property with her half sister and research professor, Ethan. Natalie & Ethan don’t have the friendliest first meeting but they pull together once other people get involved to try to take what’s rightfully theirs. With lots of drama and some twists & turns that lead to a happily ever after.
This book is Dual POV - Natalie & Ethan. These two characters both have been through a lot and neither really want to start a new relationship. It is an opposites attract story with some good bantering with some spice tossed in. I absolutely adored Ethan and his love for his community wanting to make it a better place to live. He would do anything for anyone! Natalie seemed selfish at first but she really wanted to do right by her sister, nephew and Ethan. I would love to have visited some of the places she had gone to with her job as a tour guide!
At times some of the characters got a little confusing for me since there were so many of them but I got past that since I truly enjoyed the story. I look forward to reading the next book!
