My Thoughts:

I am so in love with this series!!! I went back and read the first two books of this series before reading this one and I am so glad that I did - although they can all be read as stand alones. AND can I just say that I LOVE the Dolly quotes used in these books?

"If you don't like the road you're walking, start paving another one" - Dolly Parton

I love the world that Melissa had created with this group of friends. These characters are SO much fun…exactly what I needed after some more serious reads! This is another series that has a Hallmark vibe to it…which I really enjoy! It is a quick read that is very well written.

It did take me a minute to realize that Jo was Katie's best friend (her name was mentioned in the previous book) - I am glad that she made her way back to Nashville to meet Derek! What a sweet love story - they both have so much in common and really can understand what the other is going through. Derek has been one of my favorites from the beginning of the series - he is such a sweet, kind guy and it is even proven more so when he adopted the older dog that no one wanted!

"I have to believe that if we're supposed to cross paths, the universe will make it happen." THIS!!! I love when Jo says this to Derek! I truly believe that things happen for a reason and this just shows that Jo & Derek were meant for each other!

There are several CWs in this book: abuse (physical, mental and verbal), alcoholism, liver disease, family death.

I am rating this a 4.5 star but I am rounding up because I laughed so much in this book (shed some tears too)…AND I loved how we got a little peak of what’s coming next for Dallas & Katie!

Thank you to Melissa Grace for this Advanced Reader's Copy in exchange for my honest review!
