Today we had a nice visit from our favorite Aunt! She stopped by to give Jackie her birthday present. It was a wonderful visit. She is one of my favorite people in the world and it is always so nice to catch up with her. I actually did my hair and make-up since today too!
I made some more banana mini muffins for the visit (and for the last few days of Ben's school lunches. He has 2 more wake-ups in high school. So bittersweet! He has been so busy this week with starting his job at O'Reilly's - the past three days he has gone to school and went right to work directly after. He works tomorrow night too and then has two days off.
Jackie is off to New York with her bestie. Their flight leaves at 5:00am so she is spending the night over there. I can't wait to hear about her travels!!!
Yesterday, I got some more happy mail! A book order that I placed with Amazon and then a book that I won in a giveaway from GoodReads!!! I brought out my hauls from recent purchases (and the past 2 book sales) to show my Aunt and she thought I was crazy with all of the books.
