My week started out with Ben's Senior Walk Out followed by the Clap-Out at his old elementary school. It was a very emotional day for me! I expect these emotional days to last for awhile (his actual graduation is on the 31st).
After Ben's walkout we ordered the corsage for prom, went and bought a suit for prom and then stopped at Target where I bought some books!!! Did you know that Target price matches their online prices for books? I am glad that I asked because a few of the books the prices were A LOT cheaper!!! I will be making a haul post later this weekend. My last Thrift Books order came this week too!!! I have a lot to read - I really need to stop buying books for a bit!
I did a lot of reading this week. Trying to get caught up on all of the book holds that came in at the same time. I decided to read the books with holds first because I won't be able to renew them since other people are waiting. I think I am down to 2 books with holds (counting the one that I am reading now). I do have a couple of book reviews to post also.
In the fitness part of life...I ordered this weighted hula hoop. I love it!!! You can find it here. I ordered and received the same day! My dog doesn't like it though...I have been doing it outside and even outside he is afraid of it. Silly dog.
I also ordered a pack of bookmarks - Van Gogh & Monet to split with Jackie. We took turns picking the ones we wanted. I am going to laminate mine and maybe add some tassels. You can find them here.
Last night was prom. We took some great photos at the park down the street. Ben & Kasey looked wonderful!
Ken ordered a new phone for me. Mine was about 3 years old and started having some problems (it was lighting up at the bottom and draining my battery). I love it!!! The phone cover/case thing is so pretty! Sunflowers and roses.
Today is supposed to be a really hot one...almost 90! Ugh. Not ready for those temps yet. Thankfully it is only for one day!!! I will probably catch up with my reviews, posting and my online classes. And reading of course!!
