Sarah's List by Denice Holt

Book Description (from GoodReads):

Sarah Williams has it all: a handsome husband, Jack, who has a great job on Wall Street, a precocious four-year-old son, Colin, and a life in a small, posh Connecticut town that most people can’t imagine. The only thing standing in the way of Sarah living out her years in comfort and Norman Rockwell family moments is one girl’s night gone wrong.

Waking up with no memory of the events from the night before, Sarah discovers that she has shared things with Jack that have rocked the foundation of their marriage. In fact, she shared a list of them. For a man who has excelled at everything in his life, finding out that his wife has desires well beyond their “adequate” sex life was crushing.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. With the genie out of the bottle, Jack races to devise a plan to deal with Sarah’s list of fantasies in the hope of finding a place where they can both be happy before it all ends in tears.

Join Sarah and Jack on this funny, steamy, quirky journey of love, romance, and self-discovery.

My Review:

WOW! This book is hot & spicy!!! Not what I expected at all!

I do have to say this book is not what I would typically read. Truth be told, I wasn't really my cup of tea as this would not be a lifestyle that I would chose so at times I did find it difficult to keep reading because I was putting my own personal feelings into the mix.

This book started out with a bang and kept going. It did seem rushed to check off all of the fantasies at times. While I don't agree with her mother's reaction, I feel like Colin was pushed aside and all their whole world became all about Sarah's fantasies.  Jack was very sweet finding ways to make these fantasies come true for Sarah.  To me, I found Sarah to be very selfish - it was months after this all started before she even asked or considered his fantasies. Not to mention, potentially putting Jack's job in jeopardy with the way she spoke to the client.

This book was very well written and I did enjoy the supporting characters (more than the main character). In the end, I am glad that things turned out the way it did for them. It was also good to see that she stood her ground with her mother, that whole situation was seriously over the top. It makes me wonder if Maureen had fun with Captain Lifelike??? ;)
