Man these days just keep flying by! I started to type up an entry on Tuesday and then ended up falling asleep listening to Gretchen Rubin's Happier podcast. I am really enjoying her podcasts (started way back at the beginning so I have a lot to catch up on. I am pretty sure that she has been doing them for 5 or 6 years now.
Yesterday I had a pretty productive day here as far as my housework/spring cleaning. I am pretty much done in my sewing room now. A few little finishing touches and getting new lighting in there but I need Ken's help for that stuff. I have been diligently trying to get all of my digital files in order now. I have been working a little at a time but when you have 2,000+ files to process, it takes some time. I am down to 1,800 now! Big accomplishment!!!
I skipped the park the past two days. Yesterday, I walked almost 4 miles here by the house and stopped at Fresh Thyme for some produce for dinner. Ben really wanted a Chinese dish for dinner so I made a Sweet n Sour Chicken. It was made low calorie/sugar and he didn't exactly love it but I thought it was pretty darn good! It made a ton and we have leftovers. I will probably have to freeze some to be honest. Instead of rice, I made a Cauliflower/Broccoli rice that I picked up at Target. It was surprisingly good! I will hopefully be able to get a review up tomorrow for it. :)
Today was a little more of a rough day for me. I did my regular workout and did some stuff around the house until I had a migraine starting. It was one of my bad ones so I ended up taking a long nap and then work up to make dinner. I didn't get my walk in but I did do a walking workout that I found on YouTube tonight. I didn't quite get to my 10,000 steps but closer than I was before the workout (almost 9,000 steps). I am glad that I found the workout because it is currently snowing and will be cold tomorrow. Not sure that I will want to walk out in that. I may just do a few of these workouts so that I can get my steps in...tomorrow starts my two challenges...the 60 Days Stronger Challenge and the American Cancer 40 Mile walk in April!!! I am looking forward to both of those!!!
I was able to get some reading done too! AND my new books have shipped and I can't wait to get those too!!! Which is awesome because part of the 60 Days Stronger is to read a self development book. I am set there!!!
Hope you have had a great start to the week!!!
