As I had mentioned, I received the second dose of the Covid vaccine on Sunday. Overall, it hurt worse than the first. The arm pain that subsided did return sooner than I had expected. I ended up taking a nap and took it easy the rest of the day.
I did have a rough night. I got chills and felt like I had a fever (but I didn't). I had a slight headache but nothing that Tylenol couldn't fix. I had a ton of energy but the only thing was if I did too much, I would get body aches. My arm especially hurt to move. Since we had such a lovely day, I has my husband put up the clothes line and took advantage of the warmth! Plus I figured it was good movement for my arm. I did have to take breaks in between putting loads out but it was from the body aches. It was crazy how much energy that I had!!! Until later in the day, I put my last load of wash on the line and laid down immediately. I started getting chills and for the first time I had a fever over 100. I took some more Tylenol and fell asleep for a few hours. I woke up to the smell of homemade pizza! I did lose my appetite...I made myself eat a yogurt, made myself a low carb shake when the fever appeared and had a small slice of pizza because it smelled so good. I was bummed that I didn't get to walk the park...and thankfully, I did my exercise program over the weekend because I wouldn't have been able to handle that yesterday!
Chocolate shake made with Almond Milk, Brewers Carb Smart chocolate ice cream topped with whipped cream and ChocZero chocolate syrup (OMG - so delicious!!!)
Overnight, I did wake up several times sweaty so I would assume that I was fighting a fever again. But this morning, I feel great! The pain in my arm has gone down. It does hurt to touch and my arm is swollen and sore but nothing terrible! I am full of energy so I am hoping to get a lot done today!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
