I mentioned the other day that I am currently reading "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin. I just finished up the January chapter and come time find out, I have already been working on some of the things she listed for this month!
* Go to sleep earlier
* Exercise Better
* Toss, restore, organize
* Tackle a nagging task
* Act more energetic
Today I went thru a bin of recipes (that my grandma clipped from different sources), mini recipe books and some recipe magazines that I have collected over the years. I decide what I wanted to keep and then made a pile for Jackie to go through to see what she wants to keep before we get rid of them. I sat down with my Taste of Home magazines and cut up all of these little recipe cards (I have the perfect little recipe box that my Aunt gave me for Christmas a few years ago)...but as I was cutting these up I got the idea of trying some of these recipes but converting them to low carb! I know that there are some that I will have a tough time with but who doesn't like a challenge?
I am still working on this idea but I am thinking one recipe a week. I will post the original recipe with the nutritional information, make my changes and then post the new nutritional information. I found this cool recipe nutritional calculator (link is on the side bar) for when the nutritional information is not given. It is pretty cool! Stay tuned for more details on this!
These are quarter holder keychains for when you shop at Aldi. They cost $6 and are made of vinyl. This was a request from a customer on my last online event.
And this is a Mug Hug...
And here is a stuffie toy that I am making my dog. Ken found some squeakers for me to add in to make dog toys out of these stuffies! It is still in process of being made. :)
I hope everyone is having a productive day! I just got my reminder to get my exercise in so I will be heading out for my walk!
