Happy Friday! Being home everyday it is hard sometimes to know what day it really is but I do know when it is Friday because I don't have to wake up at 7am the next two days to get the boys ready for their day! I make them each a Cafe Mocha and make my son breakfast and make sure that my husband has some fruit to take out to his office with him. Once they start their day, I am able to sit with some coffee and catch up with all that is going on in the world.
WOW! This day has gotten away from me. I started this post this morning and then got busy doing a project that I have been putting off (part of the January goals from "The Happiness Project") and then I had to run a few errands. I stopped off at Aldi today for a few things and ended up with a shopping cart filled with stuff! And then when I got home, I started putting the groceries away and organizing, and nearly forgot that I hadn't eaten anything today!
So I put together this low-carb broccoli salad. You can find the recipe here.
It's funny because yesterday I was telling my friend that with trying to get on a good sleep schedule, exercising and changing my way of eating...it seems to take up all of my time. I was able to finish the dog toy for Donovan last night. I really want to work in my sewing room this weekend! I have all of these new patterns that I want to try out. I need to "process" them too so I may add that to my "projects that I have been putting off" list!
And here are the awesome foods that I had yesterday!!!
Scrambled egg whites, turkey sausage and Sola toast.
Turkey tacow using the Outer Aisle Cauliflower flat breads, Farrel's Taco seasoning topped with cheese, lettuce, sour cream and homemade guacamole & salsa!
Apple Cinnamon chaffel with whipped creamJackie is making our second dinner from Hello Fresh tonight so I will be posting pictures of that later!!!
Have a wonderful rest of your day!
